One or two problems encountered so far with this beta release (v3.0.0.23819):

1) As others have noted here and on Facebook the app will not start on Galaxy S2 smartphone running latest Android release. Blue startup screen appears then app closes down immediately before getting to the 'Allow' screen.

2) In the new airfield 'info' window (great idea by the way) the zoom button on the map doesn't do anything. If that is intended then should you remove the button from the map? PS can the info window default to the 'Approach' rather than 'Admin' as this is what is more likely to be required quickly in flight.

3) Had two crashes on Nexus 7 whilst panning around UK map with fuel prices displayed (not sure how relevant the fuel prices displayed is?). Cannot reliably replicate by will add info if I have more.

4) Although we plan fuel in USG we buy in Litres. The prices are correctly displayed in £/USG but it would be nice to have the option to display £/L instead.

5) Can we have the scratchpad function please on android as well?

I still don't understand the unit problem. My aircraft fuel is set to gallons so when I specify how much fuel I'm taking, I do it in gallons. However in the Change Units screen I've got my fuel preference to litres, so I see the prices on the map in litres. Could you briefly explain how you'd like it to be different? Cheers!
